Description

Cruise Objective:
Examine the relationships between growth rate, grazing
mortality, and relative abundance for two pico-phytoplankton
groups (Prochlorococcus and Synechococcus) over the
well-defined seasonal cycle these two groups experience
in surface waters of the Sargasso Sea.
