Experimental conditions inside Biospherix C-chambers were controlled with Biospherix ProO2 and ProCO2 sensors and controllers. These Biospherix systems have 2% precision. Alkalinity was determined using Gran titrations of 1 ml samples. DIC was determined manometrically on ~5-ml samples using an automated vacuum extraction system.
