These data have been submitted to BCO-DMO and are in the process of being served.

Methods & Sampling

The δ11B proxy method was used to estimate pH in the calcifying fluid of all taxa (pHcf)7 and the δ11B and B/Ca method was used to estimate the dissolved inorganic carbon concentration in the calcifying fluid (DICcf) in the aragonitic taxa. Confocal Raman spectroscopy was used to determine for the corals estimates of calcifying fluid aragonite saturation state Ωarag cf.
